April knows

Government should work. For all of us.

As a mom of three and a Director on the North Clackamas School Board, April will hold government accountable for our community.

Defend Reproductive Freedom

With Republicans threatening a national abortion ban that would ban abortion in Oregon, it's more important than ever to protect every woman's right to make their own healthcare decisions. April will always protect and defend access to reproductive healthcare.

Take on Homelessness

None of us want to see our neighbors living in a tent by the road. Salem needs to be held accountable for getting results and getting people off the streets and into homes. As a school board member, April fought to keep services for homeless youth at the Wichita Center open when the County tried to close it. If elected, she’ll keep fighting to make sure our community gets the resources we need.

Keep Our Community Safe

As part of a law enforcement family, April knows it’s critical to provide police the resources they need to keep our communities safe, address the fentanyl crisis, and reduce gun violence.

Support Working Families

Rising costs impact all of us, which is why April will work with Republicans and Democrats to block any effort to toll I-205. April knows that Clackamas County families already pay more than their fair share, and in Salem she'll protect tax cuts for working families, work to lower healthcare costs, and make childcare more affordable.

Secure Funding for Public Schools

April knows we need responsible investments in public education. She will champion recruiting and retaining highly trained educators, strengthening mental and behavioral health supports for students, supporting special education, and reducing class sizes.
